Varsity Boys Basketball will play @ South Callaway high school vs Russellville tonight, 1/17, starting at 6:00.
Our transportation and maintenance departments have worked diligently over the last two days to get our buses and schools ready for students. Our K-8 buildings are ready to receive students and we believe we can safely transport students to school. However, 9 classrooms at the high school are currently without heat due to freezing issues. We want to prioritize students being in school while also using common sense.
K-8 students: Will be in session for a normal school day on Wednesday, January 17
9-12 high school students: Will be using an AMI day for virtual learning on Wednesday, January 17
TLC: Open for regular business hours on Wednesday, January 17
High school students each have a 1-to-1 Chromebook, which helps facilitate virtual learning. If a student does not have their Chromebook at home, they can complete assignments on any device, or the HS building will be open during regular business hours for students to pick up their device. High school teachers will be in the building during regular school hours to assist students in virtual learning.
There is a chance that the morning could bring changes to our status for buses and roads. If buses cannot go, we will make every effort to communicate in a timely manner. Please make sure your student is dressed for the cold weather: hat, gloves, coat, etc.

JV Girls and Boys Basketball home vs Fayette has been cancelled for tonight.
Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball @ Wellsville has been postponed and rescheduled for Jan 29.
Due to dangerously cold weather, there will be no school on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. TLC will also be closed.
This is the 2nd snow day of the year. We will make up those days according to the district calendar. We will make up last Friday's snow day on January 22 and make up Tuesday's snow day on February 5.
We hope to be up and running on Wednesday, January 17.
