If you haven't registered your student yet, now is the perfect time! While our suggested deadline is August 5, the sooner you complete registration, the better. Early registration helps us finalize class lists, prepare bus routes, and ensure everything is ready for a smooth start to the school year.
🖥️ Take a few minutes today to complete your student's online registration and help us get ready to welcome everyone back!
We can't wait to see our Thunderbird family soon! 💚🤍

As we look forward to welcoming our students back for another great school year, we have several important updates to share. The most important thing is that Online Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens today, Tuesday, July 14.
If your family currently attends North Callaway, you can complete registration through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
This year, completing registration early is more important than ever. With our new building configuration, we are creating new bus routes and finalizing transportation plans for the start of school. The sooner families complete registration, the more accurately we can build bus routes, assign students, and ensure everything is in place for a smooth first day. Waiting until the last minute may delay transportation assignments and create challenges as we finalize schedules.
We encourage all families to complete registration by Wednesday, August 5.
Students whose registration is completed by August 5 will be eligible for the following incentives:
High School
Receive class schedules during Schedule Pick-Up Day.
Middle School
Be entered into a drawing for North Callaway Middle School swag.
The grade level with the highest registration completion rate will earn Outdoor T-Bird Time.
Elementary School
Receive a postcard from their homeroom teacher during the week of August 10.
If you are new to North Callaway, welcome! New families can begin the registration process by visiting our Student Registration page on the district website.
We are also excited to invite our families to visit our schools before the first day of classes.
Open House & Ribbon Cutting
Wednesday, August 19
Middle School - 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
High School - 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 20
Elementary School Open House
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - 5:00 p.m.
Elementary Open House immediately following the ceremony
Additional information regarding Open House times and building-specific activities will be shared by each school in the coming weeks.
This is an exciting year for North Callaway as we open our new building and welcome students into new learning spaces. Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete your registration early. Your partnership helps us prepare for a safe, organized, and successful start to the school year.
We can't wait to welcome our Thunderbirds back in August!
North Callaway R-I School District

Wishing all of our students, families, staff, and community members a safe and joyful Independence Day. As we celebrate with fireworks, family gatherings, and summer fun, we also take a moment to reflect on the freedoms and opportunities we share.
🎆 Stay safe and have a wonderful 4th of July! 🎆
Please be aware that our annual Sports & Activities Dead Period runs from June 27 – July 5, 2026. During this time, all school-sponsored practices, workouts, camps, and activities are suspended. Coaches and school staff are not permitted to have contact with student-athletes.
We encourage our Thunderbirds to rest, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends. We look forward to a great year ahead!
**Additionally, there will be no access to Central Office, NCHS, or NCES as Thunderbird Drive will be closed for re-paving.**
