📣 Notification Update
We are aware that not all families received yesterday’s school cancellation notification. At this time, we are unsure whether the issue stemmed from a local error or from our student information system, but we are actively looking into it to prevent it from happening again.
If you did not receive a call, text, or email, please contact the office of the building where your youngest child attends school so we can verify and update your contact information.
Thank you for your patience and for helping us ensure our communication system is working reliably for all families. 💚

Dear North Callaway R-1:
Road conditions vary dramatically across the District. The northern part of the District is significantly worse than southern portions. Gravel roads and our gravel parking lots are especially slick. We will transition to an AMI (Alternative Means of Instruction) Day tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2. Each school should have shared their AMI expectations and packets with students before heading into Thanksgiving Break.
The Thunderbird Learning Center (TLC) will be on a late start and open at 9:00 a.m.
Thank you for your patience and assistance with this early start to winter weather.

Our Biology 2 students explored environmental science today with Dr. Loehr and Cassidy from Westminster! Students hypothesized, planned, and conducted a noise study around the high school. They collected data from the library, band room, weight room, and even along the highway.
Curious about which spot was the “noisiest”—or if any results were surprising? Ask a Bio 2 student! 📊🔍🎧
