The North Callaway R-1 School District will accept declarations of candidacy from any qualified person interested in running for a position on the School Board of Education in the April 7, 2026, election. Persons interested may file at the North Callaway Central Office, 2690 Thunderbird Drive, Kingdom City, MO 65262.
Filing will begin December 9, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district's business hours. The North Callaway Central Office is open Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that hours are subject to change.
Filing will not occur on days the school district's offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the district's holiday break when the North Callaway Central Office is closed from December 22, 2025, until 3:00 p.m. on December 30, 2025. On December 30, 2025, the Central Office will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Filing will end at 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2025.
There will be (3) three positions on the April 7, 2026 ballot, each position will be for a (3) three-year term. Board Policies P 0320 and P 0370 provide guidance for the qualifications and requirements of members of the Board of Education.
